Chris Seasons Chairman

Chris Seasons is a professional engineer with over 30 years industry experience with multi-national and Canadian oil & gas companies, including 10 years as President of Devon Canada Corp. He sits on ARC Financial Investment and Strategy committees where he provides leadership support for the ARC executive team. He also represents ARC on the boards of several other portfolio companies.

Mr. Seasons obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and is a professional engineer. He was a former Chairman of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) and is a director and past Chair of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Rob Cook Managing Director

Rob Cook is a professional engineer and is a Managing Director at ARC Financial Corp. His responsibilities include deal origination, structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring and exit. He joined ARC in 2000, after working as a reservoir engineer at a major multi-national oil and gas company with assignments in Canada and abroad.

Mr. Cook holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from McMaster University and a M.B.A. from the European University, The Hague, Netherlands, and he is also a CFA Charterholder.

Reg Greenslade

Reg Greenslade is a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in the oil & gas sector. Mr. Greenslade was the founder, Chairman, President and CEO of a number of Canadian oil and gas companies including more than 10 years as Chairman, President and CEO of Big Horn Resources Ltd., Enterra Energy Corp. and Enterra Energy Trust. He also was the President and CEO of an international drilling company and serves on the board of directors of various other public and private companies.

Mr. Greenslade holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University.

Duane Schellenberg

Duane is a Vice President with the Investment Team at ARC Financial and is focused primarily on managing existing portfolio company investments in the exploration and production industry through value creation to exit. This includes working closely with ARC's portfolio companies on corporate strategy, asset capture, risk management, strategy execution and financial matters. 

Duane joined ARC in 2007 with prior experience at a global investment bank. He has a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan and is an Institute of Corporate Directors Certified Director.

Jackie Forrest

Jackie Forrest is a professional engineer and Senior Director of the ARC Energy Research Institute.  Her responsibilities include actively monitoring, researching and communicating emerging trends relating to energy. She is an author and sought after public speaker, and her views also contribute to shaping ARC’s investment strategy.  She joined ARC in 2014 and is a 20 year plus veteran of the energy industry.  Prior to joining ARC, she led the North American crude oil research for IHS CERA.

Jackie has a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Calgary. 

Byron Nodwell

Byron Nodwell is President and CEO of Longshore Resources Ltd.
